I try not to spend _too_ much time with people who are overly
attached to the election.. or rather, I ignore their
demorepubocratism, whatever it may be if they have it at all.

I don't follow the news but rather catch whatever happens to
float by my feed. Some businessman is trying to be president
again. A woman is trying to be president again. An egghead is
trying to be president again. Some other people whose names pop
up each election are trying to be president again.

  Who will win?

  Whatever the electoral college says.

I concern myself with individuals, not their political
allegiance. "I agree with that person!" is the same as clicking
"Like" on a post. But what *drives them* in their everyday
decisions, how they react to personal problems... how they carry
themselves when they deal with people, their hobbies and
obsessions - THOSE things I'm interested in.

If their obsession is politics... well to me, that's like "How
do you use toilet paper?" It's a fun topic during a party; but
generally speaking, I don't put "crumble it up in a ball" or
"wrap it neatly around four fingers" or "count out the sheets"
or "use single sheet, both sides" on a T-Shirt, and I try not to
pay attention thinking about someone's politics in day-to-day
  life either.
