At the same time, coping skills are always a learnable skillset,
  no matter WHAT the urges are.

  Keep busy. Learn to watch your thoughts and emotions go by in
  your mind as they happen. Learn how to let them slide by and
  pass like dark clouds so you can continue going back your day.

  Prevention is moment-to-moment, "now to now". Stress management,
  anxiety management - all the same things one needs to cope "in
  life" are critical. Occupational therapy, dealing with adult
  life... learning to find things that are MORE IMPORTANT than
  biological urges. These are all learnable skillsets in most
  cases, I believe, no different fundamentally than anger
  management, which is an equally powerful urge to sexual urges.
