If I'm not mistaken, we're the only country in the world that
considers Corporations legal persons. Actually, in a sense, each
of us is a sole proprietor the moment we are born and get a
social security number. We just can't run a business legally
until we're 18 and then we join capitalism, untrained by
schools, and credit cards tossed at us left and right that we
screw up, learn painful lessons, recover from.. and somehow
manage to navigate our existence as sole proprietors, where our
  business advertisement is our resume.

Such is the nature of the beast.

I want her world to be true. It's not at the moment. Hopefully
someday the US will fall in line with the rest of the planet.
But until then, corporations are people too. It's under the file
of "shouldn't be, but is anyway". _sigh_.
