Yup. It's days have been numbered for a while anyway. We really
should never have used online for commerce and banking anyway.
The very store-and-forward nature of the net itself made it a
ridiculous notion. We may simply be returning to 1993, just
before the commercial boom.
Honestly I kinda look forward to it. I liked pre-commerce
Internet, although it's fun to click and buy, and I love
depositing my checks by phone.
