Just for the heck of it, I typed in money on a google search.
Seemed simple enough. After ignoring Google's obvious favoritism
towards certain companies for search results, I found the US
Government's Official Money Page. Great! I'm in the US. They're
at the top of the food chain, theoretically. Let's see what they
have to tell me, Joe Citizen, about Money.
Well, Joe Citizen got the same kind of advice Joe Citizen
probably got in the mid 1950s. The Govt idea of money starts
with Earn. There's many ways to Earn money. But what it its
assumption? Job. A standard job. They call it "work", which I
thought is the amount of effort it takes to push a box up a
hill. It doesn't even say anything about acquiring this magical
thing called "work". First line about earning is: "The Earn
principle is about more than the amount you are paid through
work." So I'm paid money through work. Ok. I push a box up a
hill and somehow I get money for it? I'm reminded of

doomed to push a boulder up a hill, only to watch it roll down
again, over and over and over again.
