With writing and with music (its why I don't perform my piano) -
  I don't edit. I'll backspace a little real fast, but to me, it's
  far more important to "get it out" than it is to "make it
  perfect". It's already perfect when it comes out and if it
  isn't, oh well, that's the listeners/readers problem. A little
  meglomania? Maybe. I just know that, if I don't give it 120%
  then it's not fair to anbody. Why hold back? Life's too short to
  hold back anything but giving it all out. "
