^I'm understanding gaming, sarcasm, obsessions in general: if
I'm right, and the secret to happiness is Distraction (which I'm
becoming more and more convinced that it is) - gaming provides
the ultimate distraction (happiness) as they are designed to
keep you playing - and as you play, you don't have to face
yourself - you only have to face the game and the challenges it
provides for you. Sarcasm is a source of happiness for some
people because it takes the focus away from themselves and onto
the other person (different from dry humor, I think) - a
distraction away from 'self'. obsessions - well that speaks for
itself - but only if the obsession is not on the 'self' - I
speak of obsessions where the focus is an object, a celebrity, a
person, a thing, even an idea. I have my own obsessions that
keep me happy - problem-solving, understanding myself and the
Universe, etc - I could write a book on them alone.^
