In context is great - i think it's good to know what's inside of
  the body. Seeing intestines in a "my body" book or a 3D snake
  book is one thing - but seeing a character ripped open and the
  guts pouring out is a WHOLE nother thing. so the brains thing to
  me is perfectly a-okay. Remember: Absurd is Funny. Eating brain
  jello is absurd.... therefore... funny! "
