Nicholas - very well said!!! The emotions well up inside -- or
  the instantantaneous anger, or guilt, or my favorite one,
  "Righteous Indignation" (How DARE she do/say that! who does
  -she- think she is!?) -- you'll feel the emotion -- BUT it's
  possible to let them pass by, like watching clouds pass
  overhead. Takes daily, daily practice. Most emotions, I find,
  with a little practice, I can get past in 20 minutes at most.
  some exceptions, always - but I really work at it. The instant
  ones I try to get rid of RIGHT AWAY - within seconds. They
  should teach this stuff in school - we'd be so far better off as
  a society! "
