Then I am impressed. Within the right (and I've always been
centrist with strong left leanings - or maybe I'm WAYY left),
I've always been impressed by a segment of the right which
believes in autonomy: 5 acres and a mule so to speak: You leave
me alone and I leave you alone. Autonomy. Those on the right who
hold that attitude genuinely, I've always respected and I have
defended them from people who are authoritarian left since I was
18 and would toss out a thought in their direction: "If you are
intolerant about intolerant people, then you are more intolerant
than the intolerant person who is tolerating you." I was a bit
of a prick but I didn't like them being hypocrites about what
they thought their stance was.
