People who are studying logic are often confused by me, as they
are playing by the rulebooks. But there are several assumptions
within the various logic systems that often go unchecked, such
as the "atomic nature" of words themselves: that words can be
used interchangeably or that words have strict definitions.
Within the context of logic, this is useful. But the world
outside of logic doesn't operate by those rules and I sometimes
poke little holes in logic as a teaching tool: a reminder that
there's a larger world that doesn't operate by those strict
algorithms and yet, is functional just the same.
