Oh I may be smart, but I'm not that smart :)** I don't know why
  I respond to things when I do.* I get notifications from newest
  to oldest, so I usually respond to newer things first. But
  sometimes I skip around and see what older things I've missed.
  Perhaps there is a calculator working deep inside of my brain
  that I can't see, but as far as I know, I'm behaving randomly.*
  But of course, there could be a pattern that I am not aware of.
