yeah, I mean he's freaking amazing genius level: a living
computer and all that..... but I learned BASIC in the 80s and
lots of programming through the years and... well... if my
proggie doesn't compile, it's illogical. If it does, it's
logical. I'm glad he did his part but logic's gotten more
flexible and practical now - and it's STILL far behind from
where it needs to be. I can't wait 'til we can loose our
dependence on Boole. Just gimme Tertiary logic... that's all I
want... I don't even need qubits... just tertiary == [by 'logic
more flexible and practical now' I mean that we have programming
languages now, computers to do a lot of the heavy lifting for
us... and we can focus on the stuff that computers/logic systems
are NOT very good at yet, like metaphorical associations,
ambiguity, stuff like that, instead of always going back to an
archaic bunch of scribblings.. Of course i have a similar
complaint about mathematics, the way we teach it and understand
it... but I could rant about that for days. tongue emoticon ]
