Some of the difficulty learning at home from you away from
  school might also be role differences: he's "son" you're "dad",
  and he's "friend" and you're "friend", but when he's "student"
  and you're "teacher", he can tug at the dad and the friend role
  in you when frustrated but at school he can't . == Makes sense.
  I don't think I'm dyslexic, although my mother is. Yet at the
  same time, there _are_ some occasions where I've done
  dyslexia-type things. I do have some kind of thing while
  speaking: spoonerisms are something I commonly do or used to and
  when I'm writing quickly, words sometimes show up out of order
  or I make strange substitutions when writing quickly. So, might
  not be dyslexia for me, but I think we all have some sort of
  quirks in any case. ==
