Occam's Razor often cuts far too quickly. It's a nice "rule of
thumb" - to make things simple but not too simple, but I don't
think it deserves a rule of law but rather a nice idea to
consider. Look at what would've happened if Occam's Razor was
applied too soon to the field you're in? It wouldn't exist. Yet,
pursuing a "complexification" process ended up revealing a nice
simplicity (concept of spin). So, I don't know what to add, but
I wanted to say that I enjoyed reading the different "ways to
get there".
