I don't know if it's possible to get past pragmatic certainty.
  Theoretical certainty is nice, but really, it's kind of easy to
  come up with logical consistency. It's "closed world",
  self-supporting. That's why ppl love it so much. It's why ppl
  love math so much: it's closed world. Everything balances out in
  the end. But reality.. eh, messier than that.
