yeah - that's how I like looking at revelations. It's a
fantastic allegorical political treatise. It wasn't supposed to
be included in the Bible either. The current form approved by
that Ecumenical council was the entire list provided by the
majority Eastern part of the Church but they didn't want
Revelations. But Rome had a much longer list... but it was kind
of concession for having removed so many of Rome's favorites
from it. = To this day, it's rare you'll see much reference to
Revelations in the Eastern churches cause they never really
considered it 'their book'.
