Yes. The logic is derived through explanations via anthropology
  via much work that was done in the late 19th and some of the
  early 20th centuries. Anthropology, which is a fascinating field
  and an interest of mine, nevertheless is known to show a very
  strong European bias and somewhat degrading explanations for the
  behaviors of what are considered, "primitive people". While the
  field has improved somewhat, Evolutionary Psychology
  unfortunately _seems to_ be utilizing the anthropological
  stories from the 19th + early 20th centuries, and retroactively
  applying these 100 yr old stories of "primitive modern human
  behavior", which were HEAVILY influenced by the myth of the
  "Noble Savage", popular in that time, [Tarzan is a good example]
