1) any tech I let others test it first. 2) I wait for a period
of time AFTER it's been 'proven" and on the market before
adopting it. 3) Even then, sometimes I don't. Example: Laser
surgery for eyes. I have shit eyes. Thought about the surgery in
the 80s as a teenager when it was slicing with a razor. Read up
on it. Saw the side effects. Didn't like them. I waited. Then
LASERS WILL CHANGE EVERYTHING. Totally took over the industry. I
waited. I learned that your eyesight changes in your 40s. So, I
waited 'til my 40s. Now, my eyesight is getting better and
better all of the time. It's still crap but at least I can use
my phone without my glasses. The surgery? I'll still wait. So,
when it comes to quantum teleportation though? I'll wait until
it's commonplace and everyday. Even then would I do it? I dunno.
I like my feet on the ground. I don't even care for going in
cars but I do it. Or planes, but i do it. But honestly? I'm
fine. As a sci-fi fan, I had to come to the hard conclusion one
day that I'd never want to travel in space. Ships would be too
thin. Would I want to worry about a future force-field failing?
Nope. NOTE: By tech, I mean anything that involves physical
danger to me. Anything computer/internet related I'm there. ===
For argument's sake? Yeah I'd do it. I'll be there on the other
side. I'd expect a headache or SOME kind of side-effects but
  yeah, I wouldn't have a problem with it. ===
