I've had successes and failures. A year with a vape was a help
  but then I got bored with the process of charging. Got me off of
  nicotine for a bit. I did cold turkey a few times as well. Once
  I tried tapering using an app. It put me on a schedule. I got
  down to 10/day successfully with it but couldn't get past that
  limit. I'm a heavy smoker. Once I was prescribed Wellbutrin in
  the 90s. Didn't fill the prescription though. I didn't like the
  listed side effects of Chantix but perhaps they're exaggerated.
  I didn't mind the listed side-effects of wellbutrin but I don't
  know if they prescribe it anymore. Thing is, I don't mind
  smoking. So, I dunno.
