I like both hard and soft science fiction, although I prefer the
  well-researched science fiction (hard) generally as I don't have
  to leave my scientific knowledge behind - less suspension of
  disbelief required. Referring to the questionable areas of the
  Sciences. Every Science has its fictional elements to it: part
  of what drives their particular field forward quite often. A
  fantastic science with lots of verifiable evidence and sold
  proofs and repeatability can have a nugget of fiction at the
  core that remains science fiction or unprovable or hope. Doesn't
  make that Science bad, just having fictional elements. == Most
  of it is good. Just speaking of the difficulty at times of
  figuring out where that line is. I'm not speaking of stuff like
  paranormal and stuff like that... I'm thinking of areas of each
  of the Sciences (not really all 150+ but the... I dunno 7 or 8
  major branches) - and where they stray into areas of Science
  Fiction... sometimes significantly so. ==
