Most art, old and new, sucks. Unless I made it or someone I know
  did. Then I like it. There's a few exceptions but generally,
  it's just not my thing. == I do. I believe in local artists. I'm
  a _huge_ fan of creativity. The process. Knowing it means
  something to someone that they've made it and that it expresses
  themselves. But propped up like a dead butterfly on a
  biologist's corkboard in a room with white walls? Eh, not my
  thing. I like museums and the thing people make and appreciate
  it all for what it is and what it means - but generally, I like
  knowing the people or at least knowing of them. You know what my
  favorite art is? Sometimes I'll make vines of it: The stuff that
  the kids make that gets put up in the local library. That being
  said, I wouldn't mind working at a museum. Surrounded by it, I'd
  probably appreciate the heck out of it, talk about each of the
  pieces in great detail. THEN I'd have a huge interest in it. ==
