Ageism. Ageism is very stubborn and will likely persist for a
  long time to come. You didn't ask to be born (although maybe you
  did). You didn't ask to be born when you were born (although
  maybe you did). And yet we're held responsible for being an age
  we didn't ask to be. I didn't like being discriminated against
  at any point in my life but I especially hated seeing it being
  done to others. Too old, too young, "Aw kids today they don't
  know..." "Aw old people don't understand".. Ageism in all of its
  forms, social, legal, it bothers me tremendously. I suppose a
  more root issue is not allowing someone to speak for themselves,
  not allowing them their own voice and opinion. But ageism stands
  out for me and always has.
