oh no thank you for the tangent! Undertale has been grabbing my
attention since September, as a number of my followers on Vine
who WERE Five nights at freddy's fans, switched over to
Undertale without skipping a beat. I've avoided it, just like I
avoided Minecraft from 2011-2012, because I knew once I jumped
in, I'd be hooked. [I'm not a gamer BECAUSE I can get hooked if
I let myself] - but when I did, I ran a big server for 2 yrs for
thousands of ppl. The bits I saw of Undertale seemed to have the
elements of a great game - asked my 10 yr old nephew about it
and he WANTS to not like it [he went from Pokemon to Yo-Kai
Watch, which has a fascinating and compatible storyline to
Undertale] but I suspect it won't be long before he wants it. I
like being a little "ahead of him" so I might just have to pick
it up first or at least learn about it. This is the first time
I've allowed myself to watch a video of it [I do the same with
TV shows as well - I will make an exception with Andrei's
recommendation because I've been avoiding anime for ... decades
for the same reason and I think it's time].... because I know
he'll be lightyears ahead of me in no time, and I still like
being a little 'leading edge' for at least a tiny bit of time
  tongue emoticon == It's a "game with a conscience". That's why I
like the idea of it. My nephew has defended Yo-Kai Watch to his
friends at school who say, "It's just Pokemon" by pointing out
that you're not trapping creatures in a ball forcing them fight
for you: You have to make friends with them and if you treat
them wrong, they leave you. So, I think he'll be ready for it
soon. I will be too I think, as I've been avoiding doing a game
to completion in a while. [it's why I like Minecraft - no
completion necessary - but maybe it's time for me] ==
