lol actually I agree with the original article as well. Yet,
  what can be done? Dismantling the system seems an impractical
  task; not impossible - I have dreams, but without actually
  working for change, it does come off as "disgruntled worker
  complaints". But - now that I've said that: I'm a disgruntled
  idealist, in precisely the same type of 'boat' as the article
  writer. I wanted schools to change SO BADLY and worked hard at
  it for years, from at least the age of 14 onwards (there it was
  dress code ridiculousness but the more I learned, the more
  school bothered me). Going through student loans, paying them
  of, wondering, "What for!?!", I fell deeper in. And, I suppose
  my critique as at myself. Where's the idealist Kenny who wants
  to fix education? He's still here and still fighting but going
  so more subversively because I realized that "Help from above"
  (political solutions) weren't going to come. So I encourage
  people to question EVERYTHING; especially the stuff they agree
  with. It keeps ppl from being led so much. I want people to
  disagree with me. I want to be wrong. This is my current
  solution. It's why I can see why they're right when they call
  him a quitter. It's why I can see he's write in his critique of
  the system as it is. I'm both sides and it's rather annoying. It
  was easier when there were good guys and bad guys. === Actions
  speak louder than words. Absolutely. Consider the action-value
  of agreement and the action-value of debate. Stating "I believe"
  is not so much a deed but finding common ground between
  divergent beliefs and different people _is_ a deed. It is akin
  to connecting pipes for water to flow. ==
