The medicinal angle, which I _think_ was one of Kallistos Ware's
  things, although i don't remember, was very influential as well.
  Methodist they'd mention a similar idea but it was rather vague
  and wasn't really stressed much. More of a clever thing. But
  here, they really meant it through and through. I found it to be
  very powerful and honestly, still do, as I never believed in
  evil - I can't say I honestly know *what* that is, but I do
  believe in sickness and unhealth and the potential for healing
  to one's capabilities. By what means? Whatever means are
  available. === Indeed. Magical is as good as a way to say it as
  any. People can describe the processes all they like - and I
  love learning processes and systems and mechanisms - yet it
  takes away none of the magic but rather increases it. ==
