I try to work with them as individuals when I come across them.
It takes a while. A long time. Sometimes an hour or more if I
have the time. I let them debate me. I let them get it out of
their system. Then I try to get them to see me as human and not
a debating point. Once they see across the screen that we're
more than just our issues, THEN some reasonable humanity comes
out. == Well on that I disagree somewhat. It might be where
we've encountered them. I encounter them a lot during my
experiment in the Philosophy forums. I decided to spent a little
while trying to understand that particular mindset, and there
were a LOT of MRAs in that population. It took me 9 months
before I was satisfied, I understood their language and customs.
It was like an anthropology study for me. For many, it's a game
of chess that they don't realize they're playing. They have to
win every argument. They have to be right. There's no
alternative to it. Sometimes words like "fallacy" come up every
other sentence. Now, that's the Philosophy MRAs. I've seen
others though that were less in that group - some that are true
believers in MRA. I feel pity for them honestly. They're bitter
and genuine in their bitterness. I've only seen a few of those.
They're the true misogynist - more than the internet ranter or
debater. It has to be a very horrid existence honestly to be in
  their shoes. ==
