" im sooooo glad that pro-Israel girl from my school unfollowed
me! I'm so FREE now like*.. FUCK ISRAEL FUCK ISRAEL FUCK ISRAEL
FUCK ISRAEL * benny (@bendykoval) December 27, 2015" Ok this
seems to be the tweet of concern. I had to go all the way to the
Israeli Times to find someone mentioning it. Is this bullying? I
don't know. I *do* know that the education system is in a bit of
a bind because they _have to_ respond with *something* by law
now.

REALLY tough laws. I mean, for everybody. You can't walk by a
suspected bullying situation and do nothing. You have to report
it. I'm not saying that's necessarily a bad thing either but
honestly, *I don't know* if it's the right response or not.
We're hearing a lot about one side of a story. There's a
GoFundMe campaign even. Hashtags. She was prepared when she met
with the administrator to record the conversation and take
action. Yet... what about the girl who was hurt? Was she just
being touchy? Is it possible that there are deeper roots between
the two of them that need addressing? There's a Shakespearean
thing: "The Lady doth protest too much, methinks". I'm _not_
saying that that's necessarily the case here. But I'm always a
little skeptical when only one side of a story gets a lot of
press when the other side gets nearly none. For all we know,
benny could be the bully and is just the more social media aware
one. Or, perhaps this *is* a social justice/free speech issue,
the anti-bullying laws too extreme - does the girl who reported
her need to "toughen up"? I don't know. It's not easy territory
here. I don't like the way schools are run. I never did. Why is
the principal responsible for tweets she makes off campus? Maybe
the principal IS legally responsible and is forced to tell her
of consequences. Who's the good guy and who is the bad guy here?
It seems very muddy waters to me and I don't know enough to have
clear answers.
