Yeah - semiconductors are really quite fascinating. They use
weird terminology that's annoying though like "electron holes" -
never liked that term. Basically, it's the movement of gaps
that's more important in semiconductors than the movement of the
electrons. The holes are treated as if they're particles. Makes
the descriptions of semiconductor functioning really annoying to
read smile emoticon
