I looked at it - some interesting similarities and I'd almost
  think it could've been but these are ideas and dreams I started
  having when I was a kid. Probably have to go WAY back in time to
  perhaps a creature from an old Godzilla movie or a low-budget
  sci-fi show that sparked the idea. It's weird because, in my
  mind, I came up with this as a rational answer to how a being
  born in space would behave. [I have a longer biographical sketch
  of these creatures written out in a few places through the years
  with many more details.... ] But I'm wondering if it really
  -was- from within me or if I got it from elsewhere? More and
  more I'm finding things I thought "were my idea" were, in fact
  inspired first by someone else. I'm enjoying the process of
  tracking these little "things I think are me" down to see where
  they come from.
