I was mostly proud to have taught numerous nieces and nephews
chess, as well as grown adults through the years. Teaching my
nephew at 5 how to play chess was my proudest. He was "all
focus" so I had to watch carefully. I'd let him win of course
towards the end, but by 6.5, I gave him some decent runs for his
money, relaxing rules less and less. One day, he beat me. Then
he beat me again. That's when I knew, game's on kid. - he was
  ready smile emoticon
