Seems accurate for me as well (your view of Ponty + embodied
  cognition and mine that is smile emoticon ) - I mean, some of it
  has found validity in CogSci, such as tools being an extension
  of the self in brain scans and metaphors are seen by the brain
  as concrete, but in order for it to stick fully, a lot of things
  would have to be rewritten and really, those things don't really
  have to be rewritten. It's more of an attitude. But it's enough
  for me to stand behind. It doesn't do much that's novel, but it
  does get rid of the silly brain/body/social/environment lines
  somewhat. It's more of a change-of-perspective than omg-woah.
