Good ideas are still good even if their original owners or
future followers take the good idea and go "too far" with it. I
think of Behaviorism and B.F. Skinner, to go into a different
field for analogizing. Behaviorism was science-done-right,
although perhaps some of his ethics might be questionable
(outside of the realm of science there) - but then, towards the
end, he had his theory-of-all-things that was, of course, tied
completely into behaviorism. Nice idea, worked well, went
further than necessary.
