In Naples, FL, $15 _probably_ won't happen as its model for
  business is probably different. Here, local businesses pay very
  little in taxes. There's no individual state tax, and businesses
  really have a lot of freedom to operate here. Federal laws apply
  and local laws apply but the state generally is hands-off,
  outside of regulating regulated industries. In short, the money
  you get, you keep more of it. But, you make less money in the
  process. So there's likely some differences that would make it
  unlikely to happen here. Maybe it would. I expect it will happen
  where I come from in New Jersey, because there, the taxes are
  high all across the board, and higher minimum wages is more
  reasonable because a lot more of it will be going back into the
  government ANYWAY.
