I'm much the same way. I seek out what I call the "fatal flaws"
  in systems. (well, in, systems of systems) - This doesn't
  _invalidate_ the systems but to me it puts them in their proper
  bucket. Yes, anything's possible but no, not everything is
  probable. Discernment takes a lot of care but it's worth the
  effort.
