Mutliverse is great for Sci-Fi stories. Love it for that. I
  learned in school that the multiverse was a mathematical
  construct from the 1950s. That was in the 1980s. It wasn't until
  the late 1990s that I started hearing Scientists saying it might
  be a real possibility. I was like WTF theoretical physics? You
  gone bonkers?
