_exactly_! I know what little I know, and I listen to others to
help fill in the gaps of what I don't know. I express my
opinions and hope for feedback - and somewhere in the exchange,
we gain mutual understanding. I don't expect agreement: In fact
I get a kind of prickly heat when there's TOO MUCH agreement
going on around me - even if it's too many people agreeing with
me smile emoticon - but I strive to maintain and generate an air
of civility, decency and respect. Besides, everybody agreeing
would be boring, imo. I love differences of opinion, especially
if they force me to challenge my own thoughts/beliefs about
things. The only thing I'd hope for underneath the sea of
opinions, is decency. Battle? Sure, if they like. Shaking hands?
Critical. == Even if you felt chosen, I wouldn't hold it against
you in any way. I consider it a form of national pride and I
don't have a problem with people expressing pride for the group
they consider themselves affiliated with. ==
