You'll have to forgive me because I tend to hold a skeptical eye
towards certain types of documentaries and books that provide a
lot of evidence that leads to a singular conclusion. It's the
knitting together of history with a particular purpose in mind,
often that of "rallying the troops", of whatever nature the
troops are to be, but typically as people to spread the message
they are providing, which is usually related to the conclusion
that the reader/viewer is led to through their very detailed and
thorough but singularly colored historical filter. This doesn't
invalidate it of course, but it's something I try to keep in
mind, especially when I'm looking at all-encompassing theories
  whatever they may be.
