Nope. It's a dramatic take on a hump that may disappear in
future runs. Still interesting of course and worth
investigating. But a crack to end standard model? Eh, unless it
keeps reappearing. Even then modifying the standard model
slightly is more likely. Of course, bias: This is the
let's-get-real-here "jaded optimist" me speaking. Internally, I
STILL want to see, "The Result That Changes Everything". But so
far, Standard Model seems to be working pretty well. Very strong
confirmation for Standard Model. I think that's an excellent
result all by itself. To me, it shows that "we're doing it
right" which is very useful indeed.
