This is the line that excites me: "The researchers are now
  seeing whether their findings extend beyond the artificial
  mathematical models produced by their calculations to more
  realistic quantum materials that could be realised in the
  laboratory." The gap between artificial mathematical models and
  realistic quantum materials is what's exciting to me, as is the
  next gap between the laboratory and human industry. I believe
  the smaller the gaps between each, the fiercer the spark. smile
