I'm a science nut - well, a knowledge nut. What you are with
  philosophy is me with Science just not exclusively science. More
  like... I dunno - I guess a combination of clear thinking,
  honest feeling, good rapport, proper spin given the situation
  that can lead to clear thinking, seeing spin + winnowing the
  true bits from the spin bits... I dunno - it has that "future
  pulling me towards itself" sensation so I let it work however it
  does.
