Math is a great descriptor of reality but it lacks substance.
Gotta fill those skeletal maths with real stuff to make it work.
No worries, Jes. The universe may be mathematically describable
but it's also linguistically describable but in no case is the
description the reality it points to, just handy tools for out
comprehension and manipulation of it at some helpful level.
There's a Kabbala thing about the Hebrew letters falling from
the sky. The way ppl talk about math and logic these days, it's
much the same. It's an easy error to make, to go from pragmatic
truths to actual truths. Magical thinking. No amount of
sophistication can fully remove this very human tendency.
