Ever since the fall of communism, Russia's capitalism has its
  own unique flavor and style. The way I look at it? Why not? I
  don't care where my food comes from as long as long as it's safe
  enough. If Russia wants to do it, go for it. As long as it
  passes whatever minimal standards my country (USA) sets for
  safety, I'm fine with it. I tried growing my own food. Pain in
  the ass. GMO or not, doesn't matter much to me 'cause SOMEBODY
  out there is paying attention so, well.. truth be told, I don't
  have to.
