My mother got a rifle in 2003 in Florida, USA. Same state the
  9/11 airplane-bomb folks got their flight training. Walked into
  a store. Said, "That one". She was of age to buy it, they sold
  it to her. KMart. (it's like Walmart) Now, her last name is .
  Married to an Egyptian in the 80s for two years. She gets her
  shoes taken off at airports They pull her aside because of her
  last name. But a gun? She just had to walk in and ask. Is it
  different now 13 yrs later? I dunno. But I don't think it's much
  harder than that. If I go to a gun show? I think they want to
  see a driver's license.. which is the most easily faked thing
  around.
