Quite true. The issue of the peer review process is an ongoing
  one. Sometimes the bias of the peers gets in the way. But that's
  troubles at the top. Think meme. Someone publishes a study that
  your cat doesn't love you. It goes viral. "See, told you so"
  etc. I looked at the study. It was a 12 cat study and the
  metrics they used for the love metrics for dogs. It was
  ridiculous. Publishable? Sure. Good methodology? Mostly. But the
  setup? The conclusion? The resulting viral-ness of it? Was it
  science? Eh, minimally. Mostly clickbait. 12 cats. I've seen
  studies done with 9 people. That's a study? Meh.
