Do *I* personally believe Deepak spews a lot of BS? Sure I do. I
also see Dawkins and Krauss and Tegmark and Hawking and Chomsky
and the Dalai Lama, the Pope, Putin and myself are. Keeping both
eyes open and thinking clearly and objectively and keeping into
account one's own bias is important, imo. When I find myself
agreeing with something, I subject it to HEAVIER criticism than
I do stuff I disagree with. It's easy to disagree with stuff you
disagree with. But it's much harder - and more valuable - to
find points of disagreement in things you DO agree with. That's
why I seem to critique science so often: They're the ones
providing humanity with the answers now, and they'd better get
it right because even quick glance in arXiv can show you a lot
of Science looking BS. There's a lot of good stuff there too.
Just have to separate the good from the bad, like anywhere else.
