But we have in some ways. Consider: Every creation we have made,
  including computers, are in some way based upon some human
  conceptualization of ourselves but expanded [or something we
  see/use] What's boolean logic? Left hand, right hand. Law of
  excluded middle. Why do all things we identify as life have
  somewhat relatable mechanisms in us? Because we used ourselves
  as the template. Of course this is an oversimplification. So is
  seeing humans-as-simple storytelling anticipation/reception
  machines. But I think it's useful to do so sometimes, as
  sometimes get into a habit of idolizing ourselves tongue
  emoticon
