Depends which though. Monasteries tend to be like dorms. You get
  places to sleep. You get up. Instead of going to class, you do
  prayers or exercises or whatever the monastic group does. Then
  you eat breakfast. Then you either do work to support the
  monastery financially or study or some kind of training (depends
  on the religion), take breaks, etc. At night, you go to sleep. I
  have it as my retirement plan actually.. or if stuff falls apart
  financially - whatever. Find some kind of monastery - I don't
  care what religion 'cause they're all more-or-less versions of
  Epicurean communities - friendship communities - Buddhist ones
  too. I like my lifestyle now but I also look forward to eventual
  life in a monastery if it comes to that. I'd go to one with
  Internet of course smile emoticon
