As a PS - this task I do is very hard - finding something good
  to say about people or groups I don't like. I also do the
  reverse: I criticize more harshly people or groups I _do_ like.
  I try very hard to reduce my own cognitive bias. Bias is
  impossible to eliminate, I believe, but finding "bad in the
  good" and "good in the bad" seems to be the only way I can
  temper it a little. Drawback: People think you're wishy-washy or
  don't make sense because you're not talking in clear "good
  guy/bad guy" terms.
