Yes, and Eugenics was the Logical Positivist Rational Science
modern human sacrifice-for-a-cause. Looking for bad examples is
simple and poor form. Just there you stretched back to a story
in a book and reached forward to a specific example in a small
place that is, by the way, a cult that is not mainstream. A
little more intellectual integrity would be nice, honestly.
Can't seem to escape hyperbole. == I have no idea what systems
or processes created life for certain. I *suspect* it's a
complicated process over a long period of time, maybe a few
magical lightning strikes and mysterious chemical soup forming
inside of triangular crystaline structures warmed up by the UV
of the sun on the younger Earth which eventually took the amino
acids that came down from comets in the sky to form life. Want a
scientific answer for life? Take yer pick. Many competing
theories. I'm agnostic. _I don't know_. But I suspect there was
some wonky process involved. I believe that the elements that
make us up were formed when a protostar (the light before light)
exploded and hit a giant molecular gas cloud which formed the
heavier elements, coalesced together first by static electricity
then by gravity and spiraling over a long period of time,
eventually ended up with the sun, earth, and after a long time
cooking on this planet, us. That's where I'm at. When it comes
to God type stuff? I have no idea.
