Yes, and Eugenics was the Logical Positivist Rational Science
  modern human sacrifice-for-a-cause. Looking for bad examples is
  simple and poor form. Just there you stretched back to a story
  in a book and reached forward to a specific example in a small
  place that is, by the way, a cult that is not mainstream. A
  little more intellectual integrity would be nice, honestly.
  Can't seem to escape hyperbole. == I have no idea what systems
  or processes created life for certain. I *suspect* it's a
  complicated process over a long period of time, maybe a few
  magical lightning strikes and mysterious chemical soup forming
  inside of triangular crystaline structures warmed up by the UV
  of the sun on the younger Earth which eventually took the amino
  acids that came down from comets in the sky to form life. Want a
  scientific answer for life? Take yer pick. Many competing
  theories. I'm agnostic. _I don't know_. But I suspect there was
  some wonky process involved. I believe that the elements that
  make us up were formed when a protostar (the light before light)
  exploded and hit a giant molecular gas cloud which formed the
  heavier elements, coalesced together first by static electricity
  then by gravity and spiraling over a long period of time,
  eventually ended up with the sun, earth, and after a long time
  cooking on this planet, us. That's where I'm at. When it comes
  to God type stuff? I have no idea.
